Queens vs. LinkedIn Queens
LinkedIn made this style of puzzle popular with its daily Queens game. If you already play it, you know how to play here: the rules are the same. The difference is how much you can play, and where.
What’s the same
- One queen per row, per column and per colored region.
- No two queens may touch, including diagonally.
- Every board has exactly one solution.
- You tap to place queens and mark cells, and the timer rewards a quick, clean solve.
What’s different
| This site | LinkedIn Queens | |
|---|---|---|
| Account | None needed | Needs a LinkedIn account |
| How many puzzles | A daily, plus unlimited boards on demand | One daily puzzle |
On top of that, you get:
- Every size from 5×5 to 12×12, your choice, in unlimited mode.
- A full archive of past dailies, plus a 240-puzzle catalog with fixed links.
- Hints that explain themselves. Each one shows the cells a technique rules out and explains why.
- Difficulty labels (Easy to Expert), based on the hardest technique a board needs.
- Private stats. Streaks and best times stay in your browser.

Which should you play?
